In connection with the Bhajapura shooting incident that resulted in the tragic death of a senior Amazon manager, Delhi Police have successfully apprehended one of the accused earlier today. The incident unfolded as a 36-year-old manager employed by Amazon was fatally shot while traveling on a motorcycle in Delhi. The unfortunate event occurred during the late hours of Tuesday night.

Reports from the police indicate that the victim, identified as Harpreet Gill, was accompanied by a friend, Govind Singh, during the ill-fated motorcycle ride through Subhash Vihar in the Bhajanpura locality. In a shocking turn of events, a group of five individuals intercepted them, initiating a violent confrontation.

Tragically, Harpreet Gill fell victim to a fatal gunshot wound to the head, leading to his instantaneous demise. Meanwhile, his companion, Govind Singh, sustained an injury from a bullet that struck his right ear. Harpreet Gill had held a significant position as a senior manager at Amazon, while Govind Singh, aged 32, is a Bhajanpura resident who operates a local eatery named 'Hungry Momos.'

Following the attack, the five assailants, riding on a combination of scooters and motorcycles, ambushed the duo, subsequently opening fire on them. Govind Singh is currently under medical care at LNJP Hospital as authorities continue their investigation into this unsettling incident.
