Grand strategic objective: To destroy the Taliban. 

Subsidiaries: Capture Osama bin Laden, dismantle the Al Qaeda and other terrorist networks; establish political coalition against the Taliban. 

Strategic objectives: Occupy Kabul, Kandahar, Herat, Mazar-e-Sharif and Jalalabad with anti-Taliban forces. Leave Afghanistan with a new government in Kabul. 

Operational objectives: Achieve total air dominance over Afghanistan and set up a secure advance base in Pakistan/Uzbekistan/Tajikistan or in Northern Afghanistan to induct an air wing of the US air-force. Set up logistic base for one division of ground troops. Commence air offensive on Taliban movable forces. Induct an air cavalry division into the base. 

Air strike capability: 100 Apache helicopters, four squadrons of Black Hawk helicopters, a squadron of J-STAR surveillance aircraft, a squadron of AC-130 gunships.
