The Captain America star got married to actress Alba Baptista on September 9 in a small intimate wedding at a private home in Massachusetts, according to several news sources on September 10.
Chris Evans, 42, and Alba Baptista, 26, got married in front of family and friends. Some of the groom's co-stars from the Marvel superhero movies, like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner were also there. People saw the Avengers actors and Robert Downey's wife, Susan Downey, and Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, in nearby Boston not long ago.

Alba was born on July 10, 1997, and began her career with the telenovela Jardins Proibidos in Portugal.
The actress is best known for her English-language debut in Netflix's Warrior Nun. Baptista is a native of Portugal who was born in Lisbon. She has appeared in a number of well-known Portuguese films and television episodes, including A Impostora, Filha da Lei, A Criaço, and Jogo Duplo. She also appeared in the 2022 drama comedy Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris.
Outside of acting career, she is passionate about charitable work and spent 2018 volunteering at an orphanage in Cambodia focused on education. She is also fluent in five languages: Spanish, French, German, English, and her native Portuguese.
The pair follows each other on Instagram, but they haven't yet made it "Instagram official" by sharing images of themselves. Apart from the one goofy video Evans shared on Instagram once of the couple trying to scare the other. Baptista's mother, according to Cosmopolitan, used the same pumpkins shown on Evans' Instagram as her profile photo for the social media platform, tipping off the sleuths. He has also liked all of Baptista's images from October 13, as well as a few from July this year and August 2021.
