Israeli Protests Against PM Netanyahu's Judicial Overhaul Continue

The protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's contentious judicial overhaul continue in the country. The critics of the overhaul say it would weaken the Judiciary and remove checks and balances on the government and pave way for authoritarianism. As the overhaul is helmed by far-right reliegious parties, Israelis also fear that the liberal and modern way of life could be hit in the country and social conservatism and gender segregation could take over the society.
