Crypto Price Update: Crypto Market Down By 0.24% Even As Trading Remains Upbeat

The global cryptocurrency market continued on its downward journey into the second day of the week, even as the total trading volume remained on the upswing, though it was considerably down by yesterday’s benchmark. The global cryptocurrency market was trading at 0.24 per cent lower at $1.17 trillion on Tuesday, while the total trading volume was up by 10.74 per cent to $25.94 billion.

CyberConnect CYBER was the most trending cryptocurrency. THORChain RUNE was the top gainer, up by 13.30 per cent to $1.58 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $141.72 million.

XDC Network XDC was the top loser, down by 5.99 per cent to $0.05962 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $14.36 million.

DeFi fell 9.02 per cent to $2.35 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was down by 0.16 per cent to $29,334.71. Its 24-hour trading volume was $12.27 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was at 48.76 per cent, up by 0.02 per cent over the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum was down by 0.38 per cent to $1,839.99 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.67 billion.

Tether: Tether was trading at $0.9988, same as yesterday. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $18.41 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) was up by 2.26 per cent to $24.94. Its 24-hour trading volume was $375.32 million.

Avalanche was trading at $12.28, down by 0.47 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume was $86.95 million.

Cardano ADA was down by 0.24 per cent to $0.2896 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $123.66 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 0.93 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.07432.

Shiba Inu was down by 1.36 per cent to $0.00001021.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.0005686, down by 6.19 per cent.

Yearn.Finance was up by 1.78 per cent to $6,196.05 over the last 24 hours, while its 24-hour trading volume was $19.42 million.
