- There'll be a minimum size; it'll be 1,000 hectares for a multi-product one
- They'll not be allotted more than 20 per cent of the available land
- They'll be barred from doing so as the SEZs need to attract fresh investment in the manufacturing sector
- Firms in a few selected SEZs will be asked to have mandatory 10 per cent job reservations for SCs and STs
- Their number will be restricted or the purpose of SEZs will be lost
