Most doctors and many other professionals—chartered accountants, lawyers, architects—take their fees in the form of cash or some cash-to-cheque ratio. Chartered accountants also often get a part of their fees from listed companies through shares at prices lower than market. Since the construction industry is a big source of black income, architects are often paid in cash.
