Shehnaaz Gill Hospitalised Due To Food Infection; Anil Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor Check On Her Health

Shehnaaz Gill who was recently seen in 'Thank You For Coming' is hospitalised due to food poisoning. She was admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital. She is fine now and recovering. Rhea Kapoor who is the co-producer of the film paid a visit to the hospital on Monday to meet Shehnaaz. Even, Anil Kapoor who also starred in the movie checked on her health.

Shehnaaz hosted an Instagram live from hospital bed to give an update to her fans and followers about her condition. She said in the video, "Dekho time sabka aata hai, sabka jata hai. Mere saath bhi vahi hua hai. Fir aaega thode din baad. Guys, I'm fine now. Mai theek nhi thi. Mujhey infection hogaya tha. Maine na sandwich kha liya tha. Infection hui hai mujhey food infection. (Everyone's time comes and goes and this happened in my case as well. It will come again. Guys, I'm fine now. I had an infection. I wasn't well. I had a sandwich. I have had a food infection.)" The live video is no longer on Shehnaaz's profile but was shared by one of her fans on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Anil Kapoor commented during the live session as he wrote, “Namatey Shehnaaz ji. You are like Mumtaz… the next Mumtaz. Sab dekh rahe hain, appreciate kar rahe hain (all are watching the film and appreciating it).”

Shehnaaz played Rushi Kalra in 'Thank You For Coming'. She promoted the film extensively with her co-stars Bhumi Pednekar, Shibani Bedi and Kusha Kapila. 

Shehnaaz is a popular face. She became a household name with her stint in the TV reality show 'Bigg Boss 13'. She made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan starrer 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'.
