EXO's D.O. Is Preparing To Release Highly-Awaited Solo Comeback Album This Year

Fans of K-Pop will be delighted to know that D.O., the vocalist of the celebrated boy band EXO, is gearing up for a solo comeback, with a brand new album. 

On January 3 KST, it was confirmed that the vocalist is in the process of preparing to release a solo album. It was also stated that he has been receiving many songs from different music composers. His album, which is going to be monumental, is scheduled for a release in the month of May. Even before any confirmation, this much is enough to ignite excitement among fans. 

This marks the 'Ordinary Days' singer's first project of the new year, and also his first under a new agency, Company SooSoo. Following his departure from SM Entertainment, another EXO bandmate Baekhyun went on to establish his own agency. 

A representative from Company SooSoo shared, “It’s true that he’s currently preparing for a new album with the goal of releasing it in the first half of the year. However, no specific details have been finalized at the moment.”

His last solo project was 'Expectation - The 2nd Mini Album,' which released in September 2023. Now, to celebrate the new year, D.O. is having a fan-meeting on January 13. He also has a film 'Secret: Untold Melody' lined up his way.
