'Gadar 2' Actor Utkarsh Sharma Reveals The Most Amusing and Amazing Reactions Received For The Film

'Gadar 2' starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel as the main leads released in theatres on August 11. Utkarsh Sharma, son of director Anil Sharma reprised his role as Charanjeet Singh aka Jeete in the film. Utkarsh got lots of appreciation for his performance.

In an interview with Outlook India, he was asked in hindsight, if there is anything that he would have done differently in 'Gadar 2', Utkarsh replied, ''Once the film is made before it was released also, I was watching it, I was like we all have pushed ourselves to the max, and we all have given our best. Yes, the room for improvement is always big, it’s the biggest room in the world - the room for improvement. But sometimes you must also say that this is where we are at, and we have to grow from here. So, I would not change anything in Gadar 2; it's perfect, and the public has said it's perfect, so I am nobody to change it."

He also revealed the most amusing and amazing reactions received for the film. ''There were so many. I remember waking up and seeing YouTube and Twitter, and there were so many crazy videos of fans coming out from the first day shows across India and even overseas. The way people were dancing, the way people were getting overexcited with every dialogue, and people were booking their tickets way in advance. I cannot say just one particular response was amazing, but I think the best response will be that Gadar 2 is the pride of our nation. It is a 'Hindustani blockbuster,” and it is a film that has brought back the single-screen era. The way people used to love going to the theatre and everything that we've seen while growing up. I experienced that from the people; they were telling on news channels and everywhere, that the way Gadar 2 has revived the Indian industry, I think there cannot be a bigger compliment than that,'' said Utkarsh.

For the unversed, 'Gadar 2' broke several records at the box office. It became the highest-grossing film in Sunny Deol's career, as it entered the Rs 100 crore club within just three days. It also secured the second spot for the highest first-weekend earnings, as it collected Rs 51 crore.
