‘Bawaal’ Teaser Ft. Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor Showcases Their Fight For Love With A Surprise Ending

The first teaser of the Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer ‘Bawaal’ was shared on Wednesday, and showcases the blossoming love story between the lead couple and how they would have to fight for their love. Towards the end, we also see them fighting for their lives in what looks like a genocide-like setting.The film is actually a love story with World War 2 in the backdrop, and it is set in the heartland of India. 

The teaser actually starts with Varun’s character Ajay lovingly staring at Janhvi’s Nisha, and then there are multiple shots of their blossoming love. In the backdrop, we hear Arijit Singh singing, “Tum pyaar karne dete toh tumhe kitna pyaar karte.” Towards the end, we also see the two lead characters gasping for breath as they are locked in a gas chamber, hinting at them being victims of the Holocaust.

Varun shared the teaser with a caption, “love never comes easy, get ready for some Bawaal!”. Check it out now:

‘Bawaal’, which has been directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in collaboration with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari’s Earthsky Pictures. The film will have a direct-to-digital release on Amazon Prime Video.

Talking about the romantic comedy, director Nitesh Tiwari, had earlier said, “Shot across three Indian locations and five European countries, Bawaal has a captivating storyline, dramatic visuals and absolutely amazing chemistry between the lead talent Varun and Jahnvi. I believe that the worldwide premiere on Prime Video will help us take Bawaal to audiences in India and across borders.
