In its latest weekly report on the pandemic, the UN health agency said the number of new coronavirus cases fell everywhere, including in WHO's Western Pacific region, where they had been rising since December.
Delhi reported 1,042 fresh Covid-19 cases, 757 recoveries, and 2 deaths in the last 24 hours. While the active cases have reached 3,253, the positivity rate stands at 4.64 per cent.
This was the maximum number of cases recorded in Delhi since February 10 when 1,104 infections were reported.
