Talking about Lamichhane, he continued his cricket despite the allegations playing out in the background. He participated in various tournaments for his country whilst on bail. His last appearance for Nepal cricket team was against Oman in the T20 Asia Finals in November last year.

In February, the Scotland cricket team refused to shake hands with Lamichhane after their 3-wicket loss to Nepal. The cricketer has featured in various T20 tournaments across the globe including the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Big Bash League (BBL).
