Red Bull Ring: Acosta Impresses At Austrian MotoGP

Pedro Acosta produced an excellent showing at the Red Bull Ring as he took third place in Saturday’s sprint before narrowly missing out on a podium place in Sunday’s Austrian GP. Having secured his first Sunday podium of the season last time out at the Automotodrom Brno, Acosta started the second half of the season with another superb ride as he battled to third place in a sprint race that championship leader Marc Márquez dominated. The 21-year-old could only qualify in seventh place for the feature race but showcased plenty of pace in the early going as he moved up three positions and set his sights on a second podium finish of the weekend.
