Japanese Baseball star Shohei Ohtani made his first public appearance in front of the media after his $700 million contract signing with MLB side, LA Dodgers for an unprecedented 10-year contract. At the press conference, Ohtani expressed that he wanted to carve out a lasting legacy in baseball, putting forward his commitment in building a legacy at the franchise, wherein it includes deferring 97% of his salary for a decade. Ohtani is a two-time American League MVP and his known for his dual-threat abilities. Ohtani joins Dodgers side that has won the 2020 World Series and a hat-trick of 100-win seasons.
