Mumbai: Muslim Boy Thrashed At Bandra Station For Travelling With Hindu Girl, ‘Jai Shri Ram’ Chants Raised

A viral video showed that around 8 to 10 people of a right-wing outfit started beating up the Muslim boy at Mumbai's Bandra station while chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Vande Mataram'.

In an untoward incident, a video emerged on social media where a Muslim boy was seen getting beaten up at Bandra Terminus railway station in Mumbai.A police officer can also be seen in the video, though he does not intervene.

The video showed that around 8 to 10 people of a right-wing outfit started beating up the Muslim boy while chanting "Jai Shri Ram" and "Vande Mataram".

It has been reported that the incident took place on July 21 and no complaint has been lodged and no arrests have been made so far in connection with the case.

The allegation reportedly was that the Muslim boy was accompanying a Hindu girl.

Meanwhile, a police officer from Nirmal Nagar informed that they have taken cognisance of the viral video and are currently investigating the matter. So far, no case has been registered.
