Madhya Pradesh: Former Army Man Allegedly Shoots Brother, Nephew, Daughter In Fit Of Rage, 2 Succumb To Injuries

The former Army man was quarrelling with his wife when his brother and nephew intervened to pacify them but the accused ended up shooting the two along with his own daughter. His brother and nephew succumbed to their injuries later.

A former Army man in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh who was quarrelling with his wife on Saturday allegedly shot dead his brother and nephew and injured his daughter when they intervened in their fight.

Te accused identified as Ramadhar Tiwari (50) lived in Lalepur village which is around 15 km from the district headquarters was quarrelling with his wife Sandhya when his elder brother Rammilan (62) and nephew Ajju (36) intervened to pacify him.

In a fit of rage, Tiwari shot his brother, nephew and daughter outside their house, said Inspector R P Dubey of Sanodha police station to PTI.

Ramadhar then escaped from the scene in his car and was apprehended hours later, reportedly.

According to PTI, the two men succumbed to their injuries at a hospital, while his daughter Varsha (24) is undergoing treatment at Bundelkhand Medical College. 

Superintendent of Police Abhishekh Tiwari told the media that the accused was a former Army man, and he committed the murders with a licensed firearm. 

According to police, the accused has four daughters and a son. Two of his children were in school at the time of the shooting.
