The Central government decided on Tuesday to cancel the CBSE Class 12 board exams in response to student pleas from around the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the decision was made in the best interests of students and that the concern felt by kids, parents, and instructors must be alleviated. In response to the ruling, dairy company Amul, which is known for its relevant advertisements, posted a creative cartoon on Thursday. The tagline reads, "Student Pass. “Butter and Paas.”

The cartoon depicts a girl sitting with a few books, pieces of bread, and butter, with the word Exams crossed off. The topical ad is titled ‘#Amul Topical: CBSE Board Exams Cancelled!' and has the words ‘No Board, Only Breakfast' written over it.

The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) followed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in canceling Class 12 board exams. According to its secretary Gerry Arathoon, the CISCE decided on Tuesday to cancel Class 12 board examinations this year because of the COVID-19 scenario. Many other state governments are doing the same.
