'Chandramukhi 2' Trailer: Kangana Ranaut Gives Spooky Vibes With Fierce Avatar, Ragava Lawrence Aces In Dual Role

The trailer of 'Chandramukhi 2' is finally out. The movie stars Kangana Ranaut and Ragava Lawrence in lead roles. It is directed by P Vasu and will hit the theatres on September 15 in multiple languages. The trailer shows a family moving into a haunted house and the story of Chandramukhi and Vettaiyan unfolds. 

Kangana Ranaut plays Chandramukhi who is the dancer in Vettaiyan Raja's court. Ragava Lawrence plays Vettaiyan Raja and he is in a double role. In the original, Jyothika played the titular role of Chandramukhi while Rajinikanth played Saravanan. 

'Chandramukhi 2' trailer opens with the iconic ‘Rajadhi Raja...’ chant, and then it takes to the world of Chandramukhi.

As mentioned earlier, in the trailer of 'Chandramukhi 2', it is shown that a family comes to stay in a huge mansion with the intention to solve their problem. They are requested not to enter the south block of the house. Kangana has aced her role and Ragava too with his dual role. 

Vadivelu returns to the palace as the owner Murugesan and explains what happened 17 years ago. The flashback shows how Chandramukhi and Vettaiyan met and what happened in the palace. In the trailer, we also get a glimpse of RS Shivaji, the veteran actor who passed away on Saturday.

'Chandramukhi 2' also stars Raadhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Mithun Shyam, Mahima Nambiar, Vignesh, Ravi, Suresh Menon, and Subiksha Krishnan in pivotal roles. The music for the movie is composed by Oscar-award-winning music composer MM Keeravani. It is produced by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran. The horror comedy will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
