Under the aegis of Techno India Group, Techno International New Town, Kolkata, successfully organised the 4th International Conference on Data Analytics and Insights (ICDAI 2026) from 30th July to 1st August, 2026.
The success of the past three editions of the Conference in 2023, 2024, and 2025, with their published proceedings and widespread recognition, set a solid foundation for ICDAI 2026 to continue driving innovation and knowledge exchange in the dynamic field of data analytics. The conference provided a global platform for academicians, researchers, students, and industry professionals to present innovative research, exchange ideas, and discuss recent advances in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and related technologies. It fostered research collaboration, technological innovation, and scientific knowledge sharing among participants from India and across the world.
The technical sessions of the pre-conference workshop were held on 30th July at the TINT campus in New Town, Kolkata. Renowned academicians from Calcutta University and industry experts from CDAC, PWC, 2Coms, and TCS conducted the technical sessions of the pre-conference workshop.
The Inaugural Session on 31st July was graced by Padmashri Prof. Bimal Kumar Roy, Former Director, Indian Statistical Institute; Ms. Ekaterina Tyurina, Hon'ble Vice Consul General, Consulate General of the Russian Federation; Dr. Hadyan Hafizh, Sunway University, Malaysia; Prof. Tapas Chakraborty, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, MAKAUT; Shri Satyam Roychowdhury, Chancellor, SNU & Managing Director, Techno India Group; Prof. Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay, Pro-Chancellor, Sister Nivedita University; and other dignitaries, who presented their talks at the inaugural session of the Conference. This was followed by several technical sessions and the Valedictory Session on 1st August, where the Best Paper awards were given.

The conference included 6 specialised technical tracks covering emerging areas of data analytics and intelligent systems. A total of 631 research papers were received from academicians, researchers, and industry professionals worldwide, of which 84 high-quality research papers were accepted after a rigorous peer-review process. Among these, 57 international research papers from 14 different countries were submitted by authors from leading universities, research organisations, and industries across the globe, out of which 37 international papers were accepted, demonstrating the strong international participation and quality of the conference.
The participants of this conference had the opportunity to converse with other scholars, researchers, and practitioners about various aspects of theory, development, applications, and experiences in data science and analytics. Like the previous editions of the Conference, the proceedings of this year will also be published in the Springer Nature LNNS Book Series (Scopus indexed).
