India vs Australia 4th Test, Day 1: Usman Khawaja Hits Ton As Australia Take Honours On First Day - In Pics

Usman Khawaja's 104 not out gave Australia the edge on day 1 of the 4th Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium here in Ahmedabad. Cameron Green is not out on 49 as the visitors ended first day on 255 for four. Earlier, Australia skipper Steve Smith won the toss and opted to bat against India in the fourth and final Test. For India, Mohammed Shami scalped two wickets, while Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have scalped one wicket each. The highlight of the day was the attendance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese as the two met the cricketers on field and also waved at the crowds.
