India have ended Day 1 on 29 for no wicket after bowling out Australia for 263. Mohammed Shami scalped four wickets with Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja taking three each. Batting first, Australia lost David Warner (15) however Usman Khawaja (81) and Peter Handscomb (72) made sure the visitors made a decent total on the scoreboard.
