A goal from Araijeet Singh in the eighth minute, and a brace from Harmanpreet Singh (9’, 43’) sealed the deal for the defending champions.

Ji-Hyun Yan scored the only South Korean goal that came in the 30th minute of the clash.

India were a dominant force throughout the fixture as they registered 21 circle penetrations to South Korea’s 15.

They had a sensational first quarter, where they scored two goals in just two minutes and put the South Korean side on the back foot.

However, the second quarter was a little different as South Korea fought to pull one back. India’s Amit Rohidas also received a green card.

Harmanpreet scored again in the third quarter to make it 3-1, and a stalemate in the fourth saw India seal a semi-final spot.
