India earned a stunning 295-run victory over Australia in the opening Test of the series. Despite being bowled out for just 150 in the first innings, the Jasprit Bumrah-led visitors made an astonishing comeback to take lead. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli then struck second innings centuries before Indian bowlers bundled out Australia to complete a remarkable win.

Australia would be eager to bounce back in the pink ball Test while India would like to bury the ghosts of the last tour, where they were bowled out for 36, in the Day-Night game. Here are the three key battles that will prove to be decisive in the 2nd India-Australia Test match.

Steve Smith vs Jasprit Bumrah

Bumrah pinned Smith right in front of stumps for a first-ball Duck in the first innings of the first Test. While Bumrah will aim to do the same once again, the Aussie great will definitely be better prepared. With the pink ball and form on his side, Bumrah will definitely have an edge in this battle. But, Smith will be eager to find a way to put the Indian pace spearhead off track. An exciting battle awaits.

Rishabh Pant vs Nathan Lyon

Among the greatest off-spinners of modern era, Nathan Lyon has a good record with the pink ball too. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant is India's best batter in recent times. After a quiet first Test, both Pant and Lyon will want to bounce back hard and help their team win the second match.

Lyon had got Pant out in the second innings of the first Test but the Indian has had a good time against the off-spinner in the past. The duo would add another exciting chapter in their rivalry in Adelaide.
