Singing sensation Nicki Minaj has marked her birthday with the release of her album 'Pink Friday 2,' a sequel to her 2010 debut album 'Pink Friday.' The album was initially set to release earlier this year. However, due to issues related to vinyl production delays, it got pushed.

“This entire album will be the biggest gift I’ve ever given humanity thus far," she said when she announced the new date in October. "I can stand by that. I will bet any amount of money that Pink Friday 2, the album, is going to make people fall in love immediately."

Late Thursday, Nicki was excited to unveil "all the geniuses on this project." "Ppl I really love. Ppl who love music. Ppl who inspire me to be better," she wrote.

Shortly after, the 22-song tracklist was revealed which features big names including J.Cole, Lil Wayne, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, and Future.

Producers on the 1 hour 10 minutes long album include ATL Jacob, Murda Beatz, Boi-1da, Dr. Luke, BoogzDaBeast, Don Cannon, BNYX, Sadpony, and Tate Kobang.

One of the best parts of the entire process has been Gag City, which is a “fictional realm," Complex’s Jessica McKinney wrote, which pays homage “to Nicki's album and its artwork, which depicts the rapper en route to a pink city.” McKinney continues, “The pink-themed graphics and depictions of elaborate fixtures in the imagined world quickly gained viral traction, illustrating a complete universe featuring businesses, concerts, and more.”

Ahead of the album's release, the Rap Queen shared the singles 'Super Freaky Girl' and 'Last Time I Saw You,' in August and September respectively. In November, her 'Barbie' soundtrack 'Barbie World,' with Aqua and Ice Spice, earned two Grammy nominations.

You can now listen to 'Pink Friday 2' on all music streaming platforms.
