I prepare a lot of sweets and snacks for my friends every year to celebrate the festival, and this year will be no different. I will prepare some treats from Bhopal, my hometown. On my list are gujiyas, jalebis, besan ke laddoos, chakli, and Bhakarwadis. Additionally, my daughter has planned some interesting games for our guests to play around the festival, and I am quite excited about them. Have a wonderful and safe Holi.

Holi is a very special festival for me. It’s that time of year when the entire family used to come together to celebrate the festival of colours; it used to be a lot of fun. And I used to look forward to being the delicious Gujiyas. I still remember how we used to get up early in the morning, and start the prep by filling water balloons, and spend the entire day playing with the other kids in the colony. And this time I am glad to be celebrating the festival with my new family - team of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2. We all plan to celebrate it with organic colours and not waste any water. I would like to wish everybody a very happy Holi.

My childhood memory of Holi is not one every Holi used to be memorable one because we used to play really wild Holi I used to live in Uttar Pradesh and we used to play really wild holy all over the place, running around all over the place where I used to live and there were innumerable kids. We used to go to each other's place and dunk each other in water puddles and it used to be mad. And this year my plan is to go to a friend's Holi party. Well, the definition of Holi in terms of going to places all over is to going to just one place and play only with friends and family. One person that I'm looking forward to meeting is my friend who's also hosting the Holi party and we haven't spent quality time in a very, very long time. Thanks to the schedule that I have every day and also two, three years we didn't do to COVID and Andy after the effects of that. So this year my friend's name is Bhavesh Desai. I guess Holi cannot be played Dry and it is only important that people play holi with a lot of responsibility and not waste water as much as you need to play Holi. And I will say that holy cannot be played without water and color properly and the rest of the year 364 days left. We should be responsible for water wastage at our homes for washing utensils and all of that on a daily basis. We can save enough water. Let's be responsible to be better.

I was born on holi so I love the festival it's a festival of colours so my dad's grandmother had passed away on holi and after many years I was born so my dad used to tell me I'm her reincarnation I love holi as long as it's played safely,I used to play holi in my building with my childhood friends. This year I will be going with my friends at an event to play holi and I would like to play holi with my daughter as I have not played holi with her for 3 years. I do meet her but not play holi with her as she's not with me and I'm fighting for her custody. Yes I feel holi should be played with organic colours and I'm totally against wasting water.

Holi is one such festival that brings the whole family together and that’s why I eagerly look forward to this festival of colours. Holi brings in a vibe of positivity and joy as it is one of those celebrations where we play with colours, dance, eat mouth-watering delicacies and spend some quality time with our family and friends. My mother and I would make some amazing gujiyas for Holi and eat them for a week. That's one of my favourite memories associated with Holi. And, I'm attempting to carry on that tradition with my son and relive my childhood Holi days.

My favourite Holi memories are of playing with my classmates after school. It’s genuinely unforgettable to think back on how we used to dress in an old outfit before changing into a new one after playing. As we have heard so much about Mumbai Holi, the Idol family is looking forward to celebrating together this time.

When I was younger, celebrating Holi was all about acting like it's a war, using water balloons to strike others, and indulging in traditional foods. When I moved to Mumbai, I worried that I would miss holidays with the family, but I soon discovered that the television industry has become like a second family to me. Holi changed as I grew older, and now that I work as an actor away from home, I miss having my maa ke haath ka khana around. I would like to ask all of my followers and watchers to save water and have a happy and safe Holi!

Holi has always been one of the most favourite festivals and what I always loved about Holi is the colors, you play with the colors of your life, your near and dear ones. I haven't played Holi with my daughter for a long time, she's been my favorite Holi co-partner now. I cannot as she is in the UK for her school and so she cannot be here. I am going to miss her. I think this is the most ridiculous thing that one could say that one day of Holi will waste water, this is only selective targeting of festivals. In fact, there are so many ways that lead to wastage and shortage of water, 98.7 % is caused by the fact that there is no water treatment and we don't have rain water harvesting in Mumbai, and the transportation of water is not reliable as there is leakage in pipelines. So blaming Holi is very wrong, we should play Holi with the same enthusiasm it used to be.

My childhood is my cousins, pushing me into a well. We were around 7/8 years old and I was standing next to a well and they just dragged me into the well though there were adults around. All my cousins got beatings as well now that I think of it I laugh a lot. I celebrate Holi with my friends and we enjoy a lot eating jalebi and fafda. The definition of Holi has definitely changed over the years because earlier we used to waste water now with all the ecological awareness we have started playing dry Holi and flowers Holi. The definition has changed over the years. Given a choice I would love to play Holi with my cousin Priyanka who stays in Australia, its been more than 7/8 years we haven’t met and it’s high time I meet her and revive our childhood memory. Holi without rain dance is incomplete, people will have rain dance, we should try to waste water less and also start education on conservation of water. Banishing a rain dance totally is not possible and please use herbal colors for yourself and others also.

Childhood was more water and less colour, pelting people with water balloons and mom getting complaints was a favourite memory. Luckily, my mother’s super fun so I never got yelled at. For me playing with my family and closest friends is my comfort and traditionally that’s what I do thought my parents, mother-in-law, husband and older son are not into the whole craziness, they do indulge in me. Yes, definitely any kind of wastage is bad and in keeping with the spirit of the festival, colour and flower petals make a fun Holi.

It’s the bursting of balloons in the building compound and then running and hiding from the people we targeted. It looks rather foolish today but was a high point and infact more fun than the actual day of Holi. Few days before Holi this gang of boys bursting balloons was a high point. One of our common friends has kept a big bash at the army club in Juhu. Live DJ, food and drinks and organic colour. So once the formalities on the building commence, we will leave for the Juhu venue as our core group will be there. Infact this will be a Holi celebration after three years since covid. Other than that it’s the same. We make it a point to ensure that all our close friends and family are around so we have not really missed anyone as such except for those who are away travelling and can’t make it. We did celebrate dry Holi for two years some time back when Mumbai witnessed a water crisis. But Holi without the rain dance is not the same. That is a must for the real Holi experience.

Although I am from Maharashtra, this year my festive celebrations will be in the pink city, Jaipur. I truly enjoy the festive vibe even though I don’t particularly enjoy playing with colours. So, I plan to explore the city and witness its festive spirits at their best at the Elephant Festival. The festival is celebrated during Holi, where elephants are dressed in rugs and ornamented with pretty accents and jewels. Their bodies and trunks get painted, and a procession of elephants passes through the streets. A band plays songs and drums to signify the festive mood. Even though I look forward to participating in this unique festival, I will miss my mother, Puran Poli. In Maharashtra, there is a tradition of making puran poli on that day. It is a sweet, fried flatbread stuffed with a filling of yellow gram and sugarcane jaggery. It points to the festival’s agrarian origins as a harvest festival. I love it so much that I can't resist eating it all day (laughs). I have decided to make it myself this year and serve it to my extended family here. I wish everyone a joyful Holi.

It is my favourite festival of the year. I am from Uttar Pradesh, where Holi is a two-day festival celebrated with zeal and zest. Apart from playing with colours and throwing water at each other, eating gujiya (sweet) is my favourite thing to do on this day. It is a classic North Indian sweet made of crisp, flaky pastry filled with khoya (milk solids) and nuts. This year I will be preparing gujiya myself. I will also play colours with my wife and kids in our building. During Holi, our society's swimming pool gets filled with coloured water. I will spend as much time in the pool as possible with my son since he is excited about it. Hamare sabhi darshako ko holi ki dhero shubhkaamnaye.
