NDPP's T R Zeliang and BJP's Yanthungo Patton were sworn-in as the deputy chief ministers of the state, while other members of the Rio cabinet also took oath.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Tuesday asserted that 2022 has been “a good year” for Nagaland, with the National Crime Records Bureau declaring it as the “most peaceful” state.
Several organisations of the seven tribes have also issued separate diktats asking their community members to resign from the posts they are holding in political parties.
