Punjab Police escort a Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation bus as it returns to Lahore without passengers, in Amritsar. Pakistan on Friday suspended the Lahore-Delhi Dosti, or Friendship, bus service between the two countries. Pakistan on Friday also suspended the Thar Express, its last remaining train link with India, in response to revocation of disputed Kashmir's special status by New Delhi.

The Delhi-Lahore bus, also known as Sada-e-Sarhad, leaves for Lahore from Ambedkar terminal in New Delhi. Despite tensions between Indo-Pak relations following the scrapping of the provisions of Article 370 in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, the bus service continued uninterrupted.
