New-Age Drugs
- Amphetamine, dextroamphetamine, methamphetamine, and their various salts are collectively referred to as amphetamines. Methamphetamine is the most commonly abused drug.
- Street terms: Meth, poor man's cocaine, crystal meth, ice, glass, speed
- It looks like a white powder that easily dissolves in water. Also available as clear chunky crystals, called crystal meth, or ice
- Can also be in the form of brightly-coloured tablets called by their Thai name, ‘yaa baa’
