Suresh Rajendran is a product and technology professional whose career spans education technology, enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and financial technology. He is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Alphashots.AI and has worked across product management, AI engineering, and software development roles for more than a decade.
Rajendran completed his engineering studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. During his college years, he founded Potential Educations, an initiative that provided preparation support for competitive entrance examinations to students in Assam. The programme served hundreds of students and marked his early involvement in education-focused projects.
Following his engineering degree, he pursued an MBA at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in Dublin, Ireland, where he studied on scholarship. His academic background combines engineering, business management, and technology, which later shaped his work in product development and artificial intelligence.
Over the course of his professional career, Rajendran has worked with organisations across software, education, transportation, and digital infrastructure sectors. He held product-related roles at Freshworks, Byju’s, and Simplilearn, where he worked on technology products serving enterprise and education markets.
He later worked with SWVL, where he was involved in the development of software solutions for transportation operations. His responsibilities included building technology products and supporting data-driven decision-making systems. He also worked at Pantheon, contributing to product development for web infrastructure and platform services.
During his professional journey, Rajendran has worked across different stages of product development, including product strategy, feature planning, engineering coordination, and AI implementation. His responsibilities have involved working with cross-functional teams comprising software engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to build technology products for enterprise users. This experience across multiple sectors has contributed to his understanding of how artificial intelligence and data-driven systems can be integrated into practical business applications.
In 2023, Rajendran co-founded Alphashots.AI, a Bengaluru-based financial technology platform focused on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to market analysis. As Chief Product Officer, he has been involved in designing the platform’s product architecture, user experience, and analytical systems.
The platform uses historical market data and machine learning models to analyse trading patterns and provide data-driven insights. Rajendran's work in this area focuses on developing tools that help users interpret market information through statistical and historical analysis rather than relying solely on conventional research methods.
Alongside his entrepreneurial work, he has also served as a Senior AI Engineer at Crossover, where he has worked on AI-powered educational systems. His responsibilities include developing agent-based AI applications designed to support learning and educational outcomes.
Rajendran has also contributed to research in the field of artificial intelligence and financial markets. His work includes studies related to machine learning applications in trading analysis and market behaviour.
