Actress Nayanthara has joined superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty in the much-anticipated Mahesh Narayanan project, which is tentatively titled MMMN. The film marks Mohanlal and Mammootty’s first film together since their 2008 film Twenty:20.
On Sunday, Nayanthara joined the cast and the production house Anto Joseph Film Company released a video where the actress can be seen arriving on set.
The clip shows Nayanthara dressed in a black suit and sharing a warm conversation with Mammootty, Mahesh Narayanan and others.
For the unversed, MMMN is Nayanthara and Mammootty’s first film together since Puthiya Niyamam (2016). They had earlier worked together in films such as Rappakal (2005), Thaskara Veeran (2005) and Bhaskar the Rascal (2015).
Earlier there were reports that Mohanlal would only have a cameo in the film. But Mahesh Narayanan clarified it to The Hollywood Reporter India as he said, “All the actors have solid characters with lots of material to perform. Lal sir is going to appear in a full-fledged role.”
The film will be shot in multiple locations in India and abroad including Delhi, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Kochi, London, Abu Dhabi, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Azerbaijan.
The political thriller also stars Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Darshana Rajendran, and Revathy. The film has increased the excitement level and is expected to be one of the biggest Malayalam releases of 2026.
