Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said that the Ram Navami violence in Biharsharif and Samsara was 'planned thoroughly' ahead of the state assembly elections next year.
Biharsharif has been infamous for episodes of violence against minorities historically. In April 2014, communal violence in the region claimed 48 lives, leaving 68 injured, mostly Muslims.
