As per the rules of the tournament, all the five toppers of the groups qualify for the last-eight stage of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023. Mumbai (Group 1, 24 points), Kerala (Group B, 24 points), Punjab (Group C, 24 points) and Delhi (Group E, 22 points) have topped their groups apart from Vidarbha in Group D. Baroda will join the five table toppers in quarters as the sixth best team having 24 points, the most among the second-best teams across the groups.
