F1 Dutch Grand Prix 2025 Highlights: Piastri Beats Verstappen, Hadjar Third

Here we go! The Dutch Grand Prix 2025 is underway!

Wow! Max Verstappen puts pressure on Lando Norris right from the word go and he overtakes Norris to take the second spot. What a start to this race.

Norris is closing in on the gap against Verstappen. It is going to be tough for Norris to take his spot back and he will have to hope for Verstappen to make a mistake.

There could be some rain coming as well. Clouds are hovering over the circuit currently as Oscar Piastri continues to lead the race.

Okay then, Lando Norris has taken the P2 from Max Verstappen. Norris has been absolutely flying for the past few laps and Verstappen just cannot hold on to his lead.

The gap between Lando Norris and race leader Oscar Piastri is up to 3.5 seconds now. Norris was really booming a while back but now Piastri is adding on to his lead.

Lewis Hamilton's day is done. He is out of the race. His Ferrari has slammed into the wall and the safety car is out. Slippery surface takes its first scalp. Hamilton is safe and he is walking back.

There could be some hard rain in the offing. So far though, it is smooth for both Oscar Piastri who is in the lead and his McLaren teammate Lando Norris who is behind him. The duo would like to take home another one-two finish. But Max Verstappen has threatened to get the P2 at times.

Max Verstappen is now almost eight seconds behind Lando Norris who is at the second spot. Is Verstappen not going for the P2 or there is a twist in the tale remaining?

Carlos Sainz was handed a 10-second penalty for causing a collision with Liam Lawson at the restart

Ferrari will have to wrap things up earlier than usual as Charles Leclerc is also out with a crash. Man! what an unlucky night for Ferrari. Both drivers out with crashes on a slippery track.

Oscar Piastri has another victory to his name in this super dramatic race where we had three crashes. Verstappen takes the second spot and for the first time in his career Hajdar will be on the podium as he gets the third position. Norris will be dejected to crash just a few laps before the end. What a race.
