In our underprivileged, undereducated democracy, citizens have enough problems understanding the Byzantine complexity of parliamentary practice and judicial pronouncements. Silly obfuscations needlessly add to the confusion. Sometimes I think our courts and political masters use such arcane language to stress that judges and politicos speak in mysterious ways which are divinely blessed.
