- Immediate notification to the respective high commissions about arrested Pakistani/Indian nationals.
- Consular access within three months of arrest. Repatriation on completion of sentence and nationality verification;
- A mechanism for early repatriation; no sentence for inadvertent crossers; a similar mechanism for those under 16 years.
