Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal have both won laurels at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid. Djokovic won the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year award for a record-equalling fifth time, adding to the awards he won in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2019. The 36-year-old Serbian was recognised for his remarkable 2023 season in which he came within one set of completing a calendar-year Grand Slam.

The 16th edition of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru will have a new starting point this time, the organisers said while detailing the meticulous arrangements in place for the race on Sunday.

This year over 28000 registered participants will start the race from Cubbon Road outside the Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw Parade Ground.

Marcus Stoinis smashed an outstanding century to trump Ruturaj Gaikwad's effort as Lucknow Super Giants beat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets in an IPL match on Tuesday. Stoinis remained unbeaten 124 off 63 balls with 13 fours and six sixes as LSG completed a record run chase at the Chepauk in 19.3 overs. This was also highest individual score in IPL in a run-chase.

The start of the title series couldn't be more convincing: with 11 games played, home teams have secured 11 wins. This marks the NBA's first such streak without any away wins since 2013.
