Sonam Kapoor Sells Off Her Plush Mumbai Apartment For A Whopping Rs 32.5 Crore: Report

Bollywood actress and new mother Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, as per latest reports, has sold off her plush Mumbai apartment, which she had purchased back in June 2015. According to Money Control, the luxury house has been sold off for a whopping Rs 32.5 crore. The apartment, which is located near Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), has four car parking slots and the built-up area of the flat is 5,533 sq. ft. 

Moreover, as per a Times of India report, in the documents accessed by Squarefeatindia, the actress’s property was sold off in the deal worth Rs 32.5 crore last week itself. Varun Singh, Founder Squarefeatindia, confirmed to TOI, "The building in which Sonam sold the house is located in the Central Business District of BKC, a sought after place."

Reportedly, the buyer is SMF Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, and the stamp duty of Rs 1.95 crore was paid for the transaction.

Coming to Sonam, she along with businessman hubby Anand Ahuja welcomed their first child named Vayu Kapoor Ahuja on August 20, 2022. They tied the knot on May 8, 2018, in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony in Mumbai, and their wedding, a big fat Bollywood wedding, was attended by the who’s who of the film fraternity. 

On the work front, Sonam will next feature in the upcoming film 'Blind', which is directed by Shome Makhija. The film, which also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey in prominent roles, will release later this year.
