The makers on Monday unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for Bhooth Bangla, headlined by Akshay Kumar. The horror comedy marks the actor's reunion with Priyadarshan after 14 years. The film brings some of the stellar cast from the director's previous films. Late Asrani, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav, who featured in several Priyadarshan films, have made the audience nostalgic with their comic timings in Bhooth Bangla.
Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jisshu Sengupta, Mithila Palkar and Rajesh Sharma, among others, round out the cast.
The over-three-minute trailer is filled with laughter, screams, surprises and spooks. It is a total vintage ride with a full dose of entertainment backed by a strong story, hilarious moments and stellar performances. The trailer also reminds us of Priyadarshan's previous horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa, starring Akshay.
The trailer keeps the audience hooked till the end as it perfectly balances the humour quotient. Akshay is the OG of comedy, and he brings his best to the film. The trio - Kumar, Rawal, and Yadav, along with Asrani, add laughter to the intriguing narrative, filled with fun and mystery, and this is something which only Priyadarshan can master.

Bhooth Bangla release date
Bhooth Bangla is postponed by a week due to Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2's exceptional run at the box office. The horror comedy will now debut in theatres on April 17, with paid previews on April 16 from 9 pm onwards. Earlier, it was scheduled to release on April 10.
The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures and Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films.
