Bhooth Bangla new release date
In a strategic move, Ektaa Kapoor and Akshay Kumar have decided to shift Bhooth Bangla by a week.
In a statement, Ektaa shared that the decision to postpone the film by one week has been taken after “extensive discussion and multiple requests from our distribution partner & exhibitors across key markets.”
They are confident that this decision will benefit audiences and allow the film to have a great run in theatres.
Why is Bhooth Bangla delayed?
The reason behind the delay in Bhooth Bangla release is due to Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2.
“Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is currently enjoying an exceptional run at the box office, which is great news for Producers at large. Our exhibitors felt that giving it a clear, uninterrupted window would be in the best interest of the industry ecosystem,” she added.
Earlier, a Variety India report stated that the film's trailer launch, initially scheduled for March 30, has also been postponed. Makers are now planning to unveil it in the first week of April. Bhooth Bangla trailer release date is yet to be confirmed.
Alongside Akshay, Bhooth Bangla also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, and Mithila Palkar in significant roles.
