ENG Vs IND, 5th Test, Day 2: Indian Pacers Rock England (83/5), Lead By 332 Runs - Highlights

At stumps on Day 2 of the fifth Test, England were tottering at 84/5 in reply to India's 416 at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Catch ENG vs IND cricket scores and highlights.

India enjoyed another dominant day against England in the rescheduled fifth Test at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Saturday. At stumps on Day 2, England were struggling at 84/5 in 27 overs in reply to India's 416 all out with Jasprit Bumrah claiming three wickets. Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes were unbeaten on 12 off 47 and 0 off 4 respectively.

On another stop-start day thanks to intermittent rain, skipper Bumrah scripted a memorable day. He first hit 29 runs in a Test record 35-run over to condemn Stuart Broad to another unwanted feat. And it was followed by the wickets, with two of those coming from reloads following front-foot no balls. Mohammed Siraj removed Joe Root for 31 with half an hour's play left in the day's play. Root's stand with Bairstow was worth 34 runs in 73 balls. Virat Kohli dropped Leach off Mohammed Shami at first slip. The nightwatchman would have lasted only ball. But Shami got his man soon enough.

Then there was Ravindra Jadeja, who completed his third Test century and first overseas. The all-rounder resumed on 83 and reached the ton in 183 balls. For England, James Anderson became the oldest pacer to claim a five-wicket haul.

On Day 1, Rishabh Pant hit a stunning 146 off just 111 balls to help India recover from 98/5 in 24.2 overs to 338/7 in 73 overs. India are leading the five-match series lasting more than nine months 2-1. Catch highlights and cricket scores of ENG vs IND here:
