RR Vs RCB, IPL 2026: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi–Dhruv Jurel Show Steals The Night As Rajasthan Win Big

Rajasthan Royals (RR) thumped Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by 6 wickets with 12 balls to spare in match 16 of the Indian Premier League at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium on Friday, April 11, 2026.

With this win, RR have moved to the top of the points table with 8 points after winning all four matches played so far; meanwhile, RCB are still sitting comfortably at the 3rd spot with 6 points in three matches.

The match got delayed by 45 minutes due to rain, however, no overs were deducted. RR won the toss and asked RCB to bat first, with the hope of getting some help for their bowlers from the wicket.

RCB got off to a poor start as they lost Phil Salt on the first ball of the match to Jofra Archer. Virat Kohli looked in decent form and played a quick-fire knock of 32 runs off just 16 balls.

RCB lost a flurry of wickets after that and were reeling at 94/6 at one stage, but Rajat Patidar's sensational 63-run knock off 40 balls and Venkatesh Iyer's (29 runs off 15 balls) late flourish took them to a decent total of 201/8.

Jofra Archer, Brijesh Sharma, and Ravi Bishnoi picked two wickets for RR to restrict RCB to a chasable total on a placid wicket.

In response, RR made light work of the chase with 2 overs to spare courtesy of a sensational 78-run knock off just 26 balls, who set aside the match in the powerplay itself, where RR posted 96/1 on board.

RR lost the wickets of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Shimron Hetmyer on consecutive balls, followed by Riyan Parag's dismissal, which brought an artificial excitement in the match, but Dhruv Jurel's sensational knock of 81 not out guided RR home comfortably along with Ravindra Jadeja (24*).
