There are new night rules for rail passengers. Now, if you are travelling through the night, you might have more chances to get better sleep, as the government is all for it. The guidelines include restrictions on late-night talking on phones, listening to music without earphones at high volumes, and keeping the main lights on after 10 pm.
Indian Railways has now announced these new sets of rules for passengers travelling at night to make their journey a comfortable and peaceful one. According to the guidelines, any passenger found violating any of these will be subjected to strict actions. The TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner) and the rest of the staff on board are to make sure the rules are being followed and to assist the passengers with the same.
