Kerala, which has never had a potential prime ministerial candidate in his electoral history, will surely see some spirited campaign by Congress.
However, most eyes will be on Thiruvananthapuram, where sitting MP, Congress’ Dr Shashi Tharoor, is in the fray for the third consecutive time. BJP has fielded former Mizoram governor Kummanam Rajasekharan, who was BJP state president from 2015 to 2018.
