Prime Video has announced a release date for a new romcom, Don't Be Shy.
Alia Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine Productions backs the film.
Sreeti Mukherji's directorial drops on Prime Video on Sep 25.
Prime Video has sealed a September premiere date for Don’t Be Shy, a young-adult romantic comedy from Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions.
Don’t Be Shy is slated to exclusively on Prime Video in Hindi with English subtitles across India and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on Sept. 25.
Written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji, the film features a bunch of newcomers Aarushi Bajaj, Ansh Duggal, Bianca Arora and Piyush Khati in the lead roles. Kunaal Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Neha Dhupia and Anju Alva Naik also star in key roles. Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani have co-produced the film.

Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt, co-founders of Eternal Sunshine Productions, shared a joint statement: “‘Don’t Be Shy’ has been extremely special to us from the very beginning, and we couldn’t be prouder to see it come to life. Alia and Shaheen founded Eternal Sunshine Productions in 2021. They have produced the Netflix film Darlings, which starred Alia, Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma in key roles. They also backed Richie Mehta's Prime Video series, Poacher (2024).
Alia Bhatt was last seen in the YRF Spy Universe thriller Alpha, which bombed and met with negative reviews. She has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War in the pipeline.
