Lucknow Super Giants made their move early, trading Avesh Khan to Rajasthan Royals in exchange for batter Devdutt Padikkal. Other than that, LSG maintained much of their core squad for the Indian Premier League 2024

Lucknow Super Giants have done their business early. Days before the auction for the Indian Premier League 2024 season, LSG have traded out Romario Shepherd to Mumbai Indians for cash and Avesh Khan to Rajasthan Royals for Devdutt Padikkal. Moreover, LSG coach Gautam Gambhir, too, has left the team to return to his former side Kolkata Knight Riders, with reports claiming that India head coach Rahul Dravid might be his replacement in the LSG dugout. (IND Vs AUS Blog | IPL Trading Highlights

Lucknow Super Giants, meanwhile, released Jaydev Unadkat into the pool of to-be-auctioned-off players, while also cutting the likes of Daniel Sams and Manan Vohra from their roster.
