Pakistan thrashed Oman in the fourth match of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday, September 12 to start their tournament with a bang. Mohammad Haris' fifty helped Pakistan get to 160/7 and then the bowlers wrapped up Oman for only 67.
Pakistan lost Saim Ayub for a Golden Duck but Haris then joined Sahibzada Farhan and the duo put up a solid 89-run partnership. Aamir Kaleem then picked up three wickets to turn the game around. Pakistan could not end well and finished with 160/7.
In reply, Oman just could not get going. Only the number three batter Hammad Mirza scored 27 and two others could get into double digits. Sufiyan Muqeem, Faheem Ashraf and Saim Ayub got a couple of wickets each. Shaheen Afridi, Abrar Ahmad and Mohammad Nawaz ended up with one scalp each.
