Pakistan returned to winning ways as they beat Namibia by 102 runs in Group A encounter of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, in the 35th match of the tournament. The clash took place on Wednesday, 18 February, at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo, with a 3:00 PM IST start.
Led by Salman Ali Agha, Pakistan opted to bat first after winning the toss. They took a cautious approach and gradually paced their innings. With Sahibzada Farhan in charge, Pakistan posted a total of 199/3. Farhan scored his maiden T20I century setting up the base of the total. He scored his century in just 57 balls and received good support from Salman Ali Agha and Shadab Khan.
Defending it, Pakistan kept picking up wickets at regular intervals. After Namibia lost their top order, Usman Tariq joined the attack and cleaned up the tail. He finished with figures of 4/16 while Shadab Khan scalped 3/19. Their joint-effort helped Pakistan wrap up the Namibia innings for only 97 and secure a 102-run victory.
In the Group A clash of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first against Namibia in Match 35. Yet to take the field, Pakistan are firm favorites with a 90% live win probability, while Namibia sit at just 10%.
