PM Modi's Wife Supports Demonetisation Move, Says It Has Brought Back Black Money

While there are many who continue to criticise Prime Minister Narendra Modi's demonetisation move in the country till date, his wife Jashodaben has supported the scrapping of the old Rs 500, Rs 1000 notes.

Recently, during the golden jubilee celebration of a private school at Dakan Kotda in Udaipur, she praised PM modi and said that the ban has helped to bring back black mone to the system, reports The Times of India.

While addressing the audience, she also went to say that PM Modi's appeal for voluntary surrender of gas subsidy  is helping women from poor families as the government was able to give free LPG connections to households below poverty line.

Citing the example women leaders like Sushma Swaraj, Mayawati and Indira Gandhi, she said that if they can excel, why not the others. She encouraged the women folk to be more proactive and work for the country.
