India's Coronavirus Count Crosses 1200 As 167 More Test Positive In Single Day; Death Toll Reaches 32

India reported 167 new positive Coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 1251, according to the data provided by several state ministries. The death toll has reached 32.

Kerala has 241 cases, the highest among all the states, followed by Maharashtra with 230 cases, PTI news agency reported.

Kerala reported seven new positive cases of coronavirus on Tuesday.

Out of 230 coronavirus patients undergoing treatment in Maharashtra, the condition of five is
serious, health minister Rajesh Tope said on Tuesday.

So far ten COVID-19 patients have died in the state.

Jammu and Kashmir also saw a surge in the cases, taking the tally to 55. At least 20 villages have been declared red zone in the Valley to ensure the social distancing and a strict lockdown to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

Delhi saw a sudden spike in case count when at least twenty-four people, who had attended the religious congregation in Nizamuddin's Markaz, the Delhi headquarters of Tablighi Jamaat,  tested positive for Novel Coronavirus, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said.
